Austin-based start-up rolls out mobile platform that provides resources, tools, advising services, and access to athlete mentorship to help this generation of student-athletes prepare for the next 40 years of their life, not just the four spent in college.
Austin, TX - Jan 30, 2023 -Athletes to Athletes (A2A), a college advising group that focuses on helping student-athletes navigate the college selection process, is launching a mobile platform devoted to providing free and low-cost resources for young athletes and families. Users will have access to resources designed to prepare them for success when it comes to recruiting, college selection, NIL preparation, financial literacy, and more!
The A2A mobile app includes online courses, downloadable resources, and on-demand webinars designed for high school athletes, college athletes, parents, and educators. Based on a user’s profile, they will be able to see content specifically built for their user type (athlete, parent, etc.).
“Our comprehensive app will serve as a gateway to the future that student-athletes want to create for themselves. It has been developed with intention and purpose for educating student-athletes in all areas of life”, said Tylene Braswell, A2A’s Chief Growth Officer. “Built and backed by former NCAA athletes, the A2A app will help drive continuous learning and forward progression by providing the resources kids need to unlock their full potential as students and athletes.”
Upon signup, each new user will receive a credit for one free consultation with a certified college advisor where they can provide expert advice on topical questions, and share more about the company’s advising program that has helped dozens of student-athletes find the right fit college program for their needs on and off the field.
New users over the next 60 days will also have the opportunity to provide recommendations and feedback on the A2A community, a feature that enables similar user types to interact with one another in the app, as well as participate in topical threads with college advisors and recruiters.
