During our chat with Imade he talks about the wake-up call he got when his coach read his grades aloud in front of his teammates that boosted his academic efforts. He also discusses how invigorating it was to have a coach invest and believe in him.

Part 1: Texas OL Tope Imade will leave the Longhorns’ campus with 3 degrees, but he will be the first one to admit that when he came in as a freshman it wasn’t the easiest transition for him to adjust to life as a college student-athlete.
Part 2: Imade saw plenty of ups and downs along with a lot of changes during his time at UT, but his mentality and support system helped him stay the course.
Part 3: Tope delves into how impactful it was to have a coach show confidence in him stating: "It's about coaching. You need to have a coach that believes in you and knows that you are capable of doing what you were recruited to do..."
