How Reid Turned His Story Into The A2A Academy
Crafting a program that leaves former athletes SAYING, "I wish this existed when I was in high school!"
I've always known that sports would be a significant part of my life. Growing up, I dreamed of playing college sports, and I vividly recall feeling anxious about second-guessing every decision I made in high school regarding my college opportunities. Did I attend the right camp? How should I approach this coach? Am I fulfilling the academic requirements necessary to play sports at the next level?
My school counselors were overworked and lacked expertise in college sports, while most "recruiting" services seemed more focused on using my efforts to attract other desperate families to their website rather than providing useful guidance on navigating this process.
After attending four schools in four years and ultimately giving up the sport I loved after just two, I realized there had to be a better way to support student-athletes and their families. Following years of schooling, working, and feedback, the A2A Academy has emerged as one of the premier programs to assist student-athletes and their families as they navigate one of the most critical decisions of their lives to date.
