Putting the Pieces Together - Athletic Recruitment Panel Discussion

Last week, I had the chance to moderate a really meaningful panel on the college athletic recruiting process thank to Laurel Springs High School, and it was one of my favorite conversations of the year so far! I was joined by four incredible guests:

Amy Bryant, an NCAA champion as both a player and coach

Claire Sheldon Richardson, a Harvard golf record-holder and college counselor

Sofia Corte‑Real, a current Wellesley tennis player and Army ROTC cadet

Jacob Olar, a first-year at the University of Alabama who’s already won eight collegiate doubles titles.

We talked about how much the recruiting process has changed, what student-athletes and families should know today, and how to stay grounded through it all. Their honesty, experience, and perspective made this panel something special, and I’m excited to share the full recording with you below.
