WWE Making Big NIL Splash

Everyone is looking to get into the new and evolving NIL market with college athletes. We’ve seen national brands/companies like Gatorade and StockX get into the mix, as well as local town car dealerships get in the mix as well.

One of the biggest splashes to be made in the market as of late has come from WWE’s announcement of their own NIL program for college athletes. In September they announced the signing of Olympic freestyle wrestling champion Gable Steveson and then in the beginning of December made the announcement of the program to add to the list of athletes which just included Steveson.

Now, that list has grown exponentially. From twin sister women’s basketball players to wrestlers, football players and track stars, the WWE program is making huge waves on this front.
